In 2010 the Drive will be on Saturday, June 26th.

If you like to drive that COLLECTIBLE CAR of yours as well as show it, we invite you to join us for this picturesque and exciting scenic tour toward the coast and back, the day before the Palo Alto Concours. Sign in for the Drive begins at 8 AM for a "sneak preview" car show. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

At 9 AM, departure will be assisted by the CHP. Faster cars will lead the way! You will receive a souvenir route book and special gifts. At the end of the drive, there is a visit to one of the most emulated private car clubs in the world with a catered lunch and auction. Check out the 2009 Auction.

If you've never heard of the "Candy Store," you're in for a very special treat to dine in the midst of a prestigious collection of fine automobiles never available to the general public. Even if you have been there before, the cars are always changing, so you're bound to see something new. Be sure to reserve early as space is limited. During lunch, automobile memorabilia will be auctioned for charity. Please indicate any memorabilia you may wish to donate for the auction. Very old silver trophies are always a big hit.

The cost of this special event is $75 per person. All net proceeds from this event go to the Palo Alto Lions Charities, Inc. Advanced registration is required.

So come out and join the fun, and see, hear, and smell all those wonderful machines in motion (Street-legal, complete vehicles with adequate safety equipment, please).
