Matt Stone, executive editor of MotorTrend and
MotorTrend Classic magazines, has been a professional
automotive journalist/photographer for over 20 years.
Editorially, Stone participates in special features
such as historic "In Retrospect" articles. He is a
commentator on the Motor Trend Radio Network. Matt has
authored and photographed seven automotive marque
history books and is a member of SPEED network's
Barrett-Jackson auction broadcast team. Matt enjoys
anything with four wheels, with a preference toward
sports, performance, and racing cars of the 1950s,
'60s and '70s. Stone is a Chief Class Judge at the
Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and sits on
Meguiar's "Car Hobby Person of The Year" panel. He is
also past president and an active member of the Motor
Press Guild trade association. A California native,
Matt resides in Glendale.
