Beginning Our Fifth Decade of Celebrating All That's Automotive ....

The 41st annual Palo Alto Concours d'Elegance is poised to uphold the reputation of quality which sets this automotive event apart from others in the Bay Area. Plans are underway to once again assemble a field of outstanding classic and collector cars, supplemented by a variety of special-interest auto displays.

It all takes place on SUNDAY, JUNE 24, 2007 on the Stanford University athletic fields. Ferrari, the ultimate Italian exotic, is our EUROPEAN marque and CORD the American marque. Although for quite different reasons, both hold positions of high regard in the automotive community, and pristine examples of both will be on display.

In addition to impressive ranks of Ferraris and Cords, a style pavilion is being sponsored by the Academy of Art University in San Francisco that focuses on the design evolution of Ferrari. In addition, our 2007 GALLERY OF THE GREATS includes real handpicked "classic" hot rods and custom street rods. This year's SUPERCAR exhibit features the latest exotics - always showstoppers - and a new exhibit named "MEMORY LANE" portrays some of the "big-boy" toys that inspired many of us to become auto enthusiasts. Both the VINTAGE TRACTORS and the VINTAGE TRAILERS are back this year.

As usual, there'll be plenty of food, entertainment, auto-related vendors, and convenient parking. From I-280, go east on Sand Hill Road for about a mile. The show field is located on the right at the corner of Sand Hill and Pasteur Dr., just before the Stanford Shopping Center.

As for the past 40 years, the Concours is sponsored by the Palo Alto Host Lions Club, and its proceeds support more than two dozen local charities and organizations.

General Admission tickets are $25.00 each. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.

Patrons Pavilion tickets are $85.00 each and include a Continental Breakfast, Mimosa Hour and Catered Lunch.
