Robert (Rob) O’Neill, Car Selection Manager

Born and raised in San Francisco, Robert O'Neill has worked as a broker for a variety of large California-based insurance firms over the past 25 years.  Currently, he is the owner of Town & Country Insurances Services and Hot Rod Insurance Services, based in Burlingame, CA, for which he additionally performs hot rod appraisals.  Robert is also a partner in Pacific Interstate Insurance Brokers, headquartered in El Dorado Hills, CA which has more than 125 affiliated agencies located throughout California.

Robert’s extensive knowledge of classic cars and custom vehicles comes from purchasing, building, restoring, and selling more than twenty such automobiles himself.  His most recent project is a 1936 Ford 3-Window Coupe, which he expects to complete this year.

The Palo Alto Concours d'Elegance committee  is the charitable arm of the Palo Alto Host Lions Club.  The committee welcomes you to Palo Alto Concours d'Elegance 2012.   Money raised from this event helps support local organizations for the visually and hearing impaired, diabetic support groups and facilities, hospitals, and youth and senior groups and centers.  Our 2012 featured charity is  Canine Companions for Independence  

This year’s American Marque are cars within the Chrysler Corporation:
Dodge, Plymouth, and Chrysler. The European Marque is the Fiat Corporation:
 Fiat, Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo

The Gallery of the Greats will feature cars you may never have the opportunity to
see anywhere else; non-judged vehicles that owners want to share with the public,
and a special tent of miniature engines that actually work!

The week-end of events include:

Saturday Afternoon
The Drive is held on Saturday, June 23.  The driver and their companion will enjoy a scenic drive leaving the Concours field at approximately1:00 P.M., driving a designated route to the Pacific Coast, and returning to the field in time for dinner for charity! The Drive participants are welcome to participate in just the Drive and/or stay for dinner.
Saturday evening
Enjoy friends and conversation at the no-host wine and hosted appetizers reception on the field starting at 4:00 P.M..  An elegant charity dinner in the Patrons Pavilion at 5:30 P.M. will include hosted wine and beer.
Sunday
Car displays, exhibits, memorabilia, merchant vendors, silent auction,entertainment, and food court.
Sunday Patrons Pavilion                                                              For those who want to enjoy a little more pampering, the Patrons   Pavilion  is the place to be for Continental Breakfast, Mimosa Bar, VIP ramp side preferred shaded ring side seating, Catered  lunch with wine and beer and unlimited non alcoholic beverage service.
